I am an artist living in New York City. My modest artistic output includes illustrations, chair and product design.
Currently, I am working on publishing a Mr. Mug design book, in which I show how to create objects from recyclable
cups. These objects include games, toys and practical products such as salt and pepper shakers. This book is ideal
for parents to teach children creativity. The materials are easily accessible and the cost of making a toy ranges
from $0.20 to $2.00. This is a great idea to keep the children engaged and explain them the importance
of recycling.
My illustrations focus on a juxtaposition of thoughts, motifs and symbols. A surreal story about life. I use a pen and pencil with a touch of red at selected elements. This apparently banal technique refers to everyone's schooldays. It reminds of dreawing unreal elements of reality on classroom tables, at the edges of notebook sheets during a lecture or a recess. I use this form to talk about the man and the turmoil of the soul.
Product Design
I also specialize in industrial design, with focus on seats of every kind. My vision of designing is strongly connected with giving the special chance of taking part in creating process for my audience. My chairs are much more than ordinary furniture. In my work I try to combine my previous experiences from perception of the other types of art and that is why my projects are interesting alternative for a mass production.
